TE Connectivity's PIDG terminals are designed for uniform reliability in the most difficult circuit environments. They consist of a tin plated copper or tin plated phosphor bronze body for spring spades, plus a copper and colored insulation sleeve fitted over a terminal barrel. The many millions of AMP terminals & splices that are still deployed twenty years after installation are a testament to the rigorous testing and research that went into their design and manufacturing.
