Square Shaft anchors are used in areas where weak soil conditions exist and/or higher holding capacities are required. Extension shafts are added to allow the Lead Section to be installed to the proper depth. The Chance Square Shaft "SS" Anchor Lead Sections are available in various helical plate combinations and square shaft sizes. The Square Shaft screw anchor system consists of three galvanized components: Lead Section (sold separately), Extension Shaft (sold separately), and the Guy Adapter.
