Type S NEMA reversing magnetic starters are used for full voltage starting, stopping, and reversing AC squirrel cage motors. NEMA 8736 reversing starters are available in NEMA Sizes 00 to 7 and have ratings up to 810 amperes. NEMA reversing starters consist of two 8502S NEMA contactors that are mechanically and electrically interlocked and an overload relay. Sizes 0-5 reversing starters are available in either horizontal or vertical arrangements. This reversing starter is arranged horizontally. This 3 pole NEMA Size 0 reversing starter has an 18 ampere rating. This three phase NEMA Size 0 reversing starter has 3 HP at 200 and 230 VAC and 5 HP at 460 and 575 VAC ratings. This reversing NEMA motor starter has a melting alloy type overload relay that uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This NEMA starter has a 5 kA maximum SCCR (Short Circuit Current Rating) per UL508A when protected by an appropriate circuit breaker or fuse. Type S motor starters are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This starter has a 208 VAC 60 Hz operating coil wired for common control. This NEMA reversing starter is an open device without an enclosure. This starter is 6.91 inches tall, 7.13 inches wide and 5.31 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. Type S reversing NEMA motor starters are UL listed and CSA certified.
