Eaton’s CLS current limiting fuses are used in conjunction with medium voltage motor starters to provide shortcircuit protection for individual motor circuits. Contactors in motor starting equipment protect the equipment from overcurrents due to starting, stalling and plugging while current limiting fuses provide short-circuit protection only.
