Ethernet Global Data Workshop
Location: Gexpro North
Highlands, CA
Time: 8:00am - 4:00pm PDT
In this workshop we will be
covering Ethernet basics
including managed and
unmanaged switches, ring and
star topologies. GE offers an
additional way to take advantage
of this technology. It is called
Ethernet Global Data (EGD). GE
has built this feature into CPUs
for RX7i, RX3i, 90-70, and 90-30
products. Once set up by
configuration, data exchange
is completely automatic.
Additionally, GE offers Ethernet
Network Interface Units (ENIU)
for RX3i, 90-30 and VersaMax
products. The Ethernet NIU makes
it possible to use PAC Systems
RX3i I/O, Series 90-30 I/O and
VersaMax I/O remotely on an
Ethernet network. We will have
“Hands On” labs for these
systems.
There is
a $125 tuition to attend this
